Unlucky loss. The opponent is listed higher, but we played better and we should win. A very good match played Árni Þór Orlygsson, who scored 2 goals. From June 8, 2021, I bought 9 young, prospective Icelanders aged 17 to 20 to my club. I'm currently training pace. I hope the players will improve their skills and most of them will be a strengthening of the Ísland U21 in the future.

World Cup Qualifiers U21 are ahead of us. This season I got to know the skills of all the players of the national team. In the NT U21, I gave many young players a chance to play. 30 players played throughout the season. During the season the team was joined by: Brjánn Þrastarsson (18y), Sveinbjörn Sebastiansson (18y),Þórlakur Kristinsson (18y), Björn Ingi Eyþórsson (17y), Jón Ingi Hilmarsson (16y) and Rafn Daðason (16y). We have achieved a huge success getting promoted to the quarter-finals of the Mini World Cup U20 and semi-finals of African Cup U21, in which we played as a guest. Next season, our most important goal will be to score as many points as possible in the World Cup Qualifiers U21. The training of young players is also very important. I am currently training 10 Icelandic players myself and I want them to be used in the national team. I would like to continue my work as the coach of the Ísland U21 NT.

Hello Ísland Friends!
A good season in the World Cup Qualifiers is behind us. We won against the higher seeded Azerbaijan and South Africa, and also against Kenya twice. We also won a few friendlies where we played with the U20 squad. This season, 30 players played in our national team. A few young, prospective players from Noteboom and Jonas youth schools joined the team. We have preparations for the next World Cup qualifiers ahead of us. I would like to play in friendly matches mainly with players u20, because they will represent Ísland in the next WCQ. In my club, I train the players of Ísland. This season I have been training pace and next season I will be training defender. I'm very motivated to work with Ísland U21.

Thanks Friend! We have already selected the composition of the team. Several of our players will make their debut in Friday's match against Kazakhstan. Next season we will play in the Mini World Cup U20 friendly tournament. I also spoke to the Copa America U20 organizer who invited our team to the tournament. We will play against strong teams and test new tactics.

Another successful season is behind us. We were promoted in the world ranking, we were promoted to the 1/8 final of Copa America U20, many promising players joined our team. Before the season we had 932.10 points, now we have 1113.20 points. We played most of the matches against much stronger opponents. Throughout the season, we played the U20 squad and we are better prepared for the next season. Our players thanks to the game in the National Team have gained more training. In my club all the season I trained 10 of our young defenders (17-20yo), and in the upcoming season I will train pace. Cooperation with you arranges great and I would like to continue it. Dear Ísland Friends,

The World Cup Qualifiers, which have gone down in history, are behind us. We were 4th again (we were drawn from the 4th pot). We missed one point to 3rd place. It was not a bad season for us. We promoted to the 63rd place in the World ranking and we are close to the record-breaking 1,200 points. In the last match, we achieved a record average mark of 52.8. This is history. Now I have to focus on the next WCQ. My goal for the upcoming season is to keep the team in the fourth pot (TOP 68) as well as to improve the skills of the young Icelandic players. After the training reform, I am going to train the 10 most talented Icelanders in my club so that they give the National Team the best. Working for Ísland U21 is a great pleasure and honor for me and I would like to continue it.
