Subject: World Cup Qualification

I left the other thread for National team friendly matches. Here it is much easier to follow our matches. I am going to give my comments later, but I can say you this it ia pretty hard group. Unfortunately we didn´t get any of those new countries.

Group D:

Now a little conclusion what we should expect. I am not going to tell any lies and fairytales.
This a real death group for us. No easy opponents. If we could steal some points then we should be satisfied.
Island is too small and still quite new in Sokker, so it takes time to start thinking going through from group phase.
And we need luck to get any points.

Scotland

Country with only 106 users, but one of the best national teams in Sokker.
Currently on the 6th position in the world.
I think we have no chances against them. They have divine keepers, magical+ defenders,
and their mids are just awesome. Also great strikers. Luckily we don`t have the first match against them.
Good result would be keeping them under 5 goals.
I think they will go through with no problem. Next week Island has friendly match against them, so then
we find out how strong they really are.

USA

Another strong country, should be at least on the same level as Scotland.
I really afraid their strikers, especially Pickens. They also have fast divine keeper, magical+ defenders and
great midfielders compared with us. Again really hard to steal any points.


Magyarország

This is a team against who we can start thinking of scorning any goals.
Of course their players are better than ours, but Hungary`s weakness in defence.
So with good luck anything can happen. I think a draw is possible.

Peru

Same as Hungary, with good luck anything can happen.
All lines are on the same level, they doesn`t seem to hace any real stars.
Against them stealing points is also possible.

Turkey
Really bad luck that we go them in our group. I should have expected someone weaker and newer.
We have played them, surprisingly lost only 2:3. we even deserved a draw in this match.
Against them is possible to steal some points.

My aim in World Cup is to get more points than Island got last time, when looser was NT manager. Next couple of weeks will show if I am a miracle maker or not.

Tomorrow is going to start World Cup qualification group phase. We will have tough home match against strong Türkiye national team.

We have played against them once, it happened couple of months ago, when we lost 2:3. To be honest after this match I was very surprised over the result, we even had a chance to get a draw or even win.

What we can expect from tomorrow?
A very close and interesting match I hope.
I even do not have a any idea what kind of tactic berdu will use against us. Luckily for us he isn`t as experienced as I am. I have already watched his league match and I think he isn`t a good tactic. So I guess he will use one of the tactics which was made by previous manager.

These are the players I will use. All our players are in great shape - forms are outstanding+. None of our players are not injured. Turkey has the same situation, all important players are ok.

I am going to use my 532 tactics against Turkey. It means I am trying to score my goals concentrating going trough from the middle. Therefore I won´t use any wingers. It is a bit risky, but I hope it is the right decision. I have tried this tactic before and it works good.

It will be a match between Davey ant Goliath. Island has 26 users, Turkey has 1416 users.

A disaster.

First 40.min were perfect. Everything went well, we also had some chances.
But that stupid goal in the end of first half was......just awful.

Yo be honest I am satisfied with my tactics, defenders worked well. Also no complaints to our mids. Maybe I should have put our wingers and striker bit higher.

To be honest Turkey tactics was bad. But our players are just not good enough to use our advantage.

You criticism is more than welcome.

Tomorrow we have world cup match against Perù. They have over 190 users. So they have an advantage,
they also have been here much longer. Very difficult opponent for us.
I even do not know what to expect. If we even didn`t score against Turkey, then scoring
against them will be even harder. It all depends how much luck we have and what kind of tactics they will use. In last stage they won home match1:0
against Magyarország.

Peruvian goalie is this team`s star player - Ignacio Saco Vertiz.
He is unearhtly keeper with at least unearthly pace!!! So a brick wall for us.

Best striker should be Giovanni Alvarez. He has only excellent form. Other starting
striker has only solid form, so a small good news for us.

Best mid is Augusto Malbernat. I have his skills and he has at least magical
playmaking skills. Also might be a threat for us.

Maybe their weakness stands in defence. Their best def should be Patricio De la Cruz
Luckily one of their other def has only hopless form.

Luckily I can use all best Island players.
All of them are in great form. So let`s hope a small miracle tomorrow.
I think it is not a secret or a surprise that I will use at least 5 defenders like i have done in the past.

Tomorrow we have a away match against Magyarország (Hungary).
Magyarország have more than 600 managers.
Currently they have 24th ranking in the world and they are on the 5th place
in our group. They have scored any goals yet and they do not have any points.
Some stats: average ratings- 51.5 Magyarország - 42.6 Ísland.
Another tough match for us.

Key players:
- Bánk Král - He is probably on of the best goalies in
Sokker. 100% he is divine keeper, aswell should have very high pace.

- Mihály Bagoly - should be the best defender of Hungary. At least Brilliant.

- Bernáth Böröczi - fast mid.

- Csanád Dajka - probably the best striker with high technique.

Good news for us is that defenders (defense) is the Hungarys weakest link.
So if I plave my striker correctly, then we have high chances to score.
The bad news for us are the strikers - both should be with high technique as the
match against Peru showed.

Tomorrow I can use all our key players, forms are very good+.
Tactically I hope to play wise, it means concentrating on defense - what shouldn´t
be a secret to no one.

Hopefully we have luck and will score at least a goal.

Interesting to see your opinion about our team :) You're pretty close in some things.

Good luck, I think it will be closer than last time.

Very weird match - First and second half were as different as day and night.
Everything went till the the penalty. It was like Manchester vs Roma match, when
the first goal came, then their goal machine didn`t stop.
Hungary scored 4 goals. Unfortunately we didn`t have any 100 per cent chances.
The second half was more equal, our strikers had some great chances to score.
The best one was on 89th. minute, when Thorsen and Emillson both had a chance.
Hungary was just better, especially their strikers. Maybe someone else can achive better
result against them - Maybe I should have played more defensively?

Tomorrow we have an away match against very strong USA.
USA is on 16th place in world ranking. Currently they have 352 users.
They are on eh 5th place is Group D with only 1 draw point out of three matches.
Qualification phase has been a real disaster for them for sure - USA has lost matches
against Scotland and surprisingly against Peru as well. They drawed with Turkey,
which is a big disappointment. Current result have been below they real level.

Best players on each position

GK - Andrew Bogan - fast divine goalkeeper. He
has divine form as well, so he is like a brick wall.

DEF - Joe Bosh - Should be USA`s best defender.
At least magical+ defender.

MID - Glenn Beasley - I have his skills in my database, which are couple
months old. USA`s brain on midfield.

ATT - Lynard McLeish - a new generation striker. The biggest
threat to us.

It is really hard to expect anything from this match, I am not going to make any predictions.
Our team is in great form. Luckily we have no injuries. USA has some problems with injuries - one of their
best MID Brad Lochrie won`t play. Also their striker Claudio Pickens is injured.
I hope we get some chances to score and hopefully we will use them.
