After relegation from the Belgian top league, only very few things changed at langhes. Good old Colson left, as did central defender sub Pezzi, but no new faces were to be welcomed during the season break. This lack of new blood was one of the reasons for the tense atmosphere among the supporters. Some fans even refused to buy new season cards, until signings were to be announced. However, manager Väinämöinen was not impressed by these actions and kept on saying "Currently we do not see the need for rash signings. Of course, if opportunities would open, we're always willing to negotiate". It's not exactly a secret the team is referring to a striker when mentioning "opportunities", but no names have been linked with the team yet. On the other hand, no players of the team were linked with other sides either. This means that e.g. goalkeeper Ljubenovic will stay at least a couple more weeks, even though he cannot develop anymore at the team as his pace has been maxed out.

And so far manager Väinämöinen seems to be right. Even without new signings, the team has clinched 2 marvellous victories against The Rebel Forces (0-3) and sk lokeren (0-9), which ended last season on position 2 and 3. With these results, the team is on top of the league and its players are full of confidence they can stay there some more weeks. Unofficial interviews even made some of the lads say they can't wait for week 6, when they'll meet Team Royalty, who is believed to be the main championship contender. When mentioning this rumour to manager Väinämöinen, he reacted furiously: "There is no reason to look so far ahead! We need to play each week and who knows what happens."

Remains the question to what the manager is referring with the latter: the randomness of sokker results which partially cost him the relegation last season, or whether he is planning a new cup run. It's not a big secret Väinämöinen's biggest career shame is the lack of a single golden trophy and more specific the amount of not less than 4 silver Belgian cups - but not a single golden one.
